Tony Nenonen is a supporting protagonist in Hellraiser: Inferno.

Biography[]

Background[]

Tony Nenonen had a troubled youth, spending some time in juvenile detention before becoming a police officer. He developed a strong moral compass and detested police corruption. He partnered Joseph Thorne for nine months before his death.

His surname is a palindrome, a concept he initially struggled with.

Inferno[]

Hunting the Enginner[]

In the film, Tony first partnered with Joseph to a resreach in a warehouse as the two attempts to sreachs for clues. After Joseph takes away the Lament Configuration, Tony stays back to investigate further.

Later, Tony drives Joseph to a second case and the two continune to hunt down the Enginner, but Joseph frames the guy and gets away. However, Tony managed to get out of the trouble. The two later meet again at the bar, where Tony shares bit and pieces about his past and how he developed up to today, even assuring Joseph that he is on the same side with the foe.

Demise[]

Nenonen was helping Joseph Thorne hunt down The Engineer, a mysterious figure linked to multiple murders, when he and Thorne became separated. Somehow Nenonen was tied to a chair and killed while Thorne watched via telescope.

In the second loop, Tony talks to Joseph before the latter shoot himself in the head, realizing that he is trapped inside a loop.

  • Tony is the only main character in the film to be considered a good-willed person, as Joseph Thorne is a trickster, liar and deceptionist who even attempted to frame others for his own good.
